Quebec Identity Act

The Quebec Identity Act wants immigrants to learn French soon,

Should Ontario immigrants learn English by next Sunday at noon?

Media says this Act won’t pass and they’re all quite contrite,

But Quebec never signed onto Trudeau’s Charter of Rights.

Should we bother to even think about this and just forget?

Swamped in tsunami of foreigners and pretend its no sweat,

But Bill 195 wants Quebec identity with little variety,

The French don’t want to get swamped in a multicultural society.

But what about English speakers in Quebec – where do they stand?

If they only speak English in their own Canadian land,

Is it possible that they then can’t be citizens of Quebec?

Will they have to live down below in the third class lower deck?

Principled political leadership is what they want and claim,

It means they’re pushing for left-wing liberalism in another name,

And enforced multiculturalism from everywhere on earth,

They want no assimilation into the land of your birth.

Sober society subdued by the politically correct,

Watching committees of reasonable accommodation in Quebec,

Where veiled lady voters might have to show their faces,

But still no referendums and few discussions in these cases.

A conference, a committee of xenophobic propaganda,

Quebec has the guts to put this on their open agenda.

They fear waves of immigrants becoming a tsunami roar,

Herouxville has been watching Toronto and they know the score.

Too many of the great big men I once knew are now dead,

Old comrades, friends, neighbors, now down at the graveyard instead,

And there’s nothing I can do because they’re not coming back,

To believe that they might come back, is completely out of whack.

That’s why religions are so popular – you can avoid death,

Obey religious rules and your soul will never run out of breath,

You might live forever but I think the odds are very slim,

But if you have the faith and believe, you only have to pretend.

Because when you’re dead; that’s it and there’s no coming back,

The reality of life is this; we’re allowed one kick at the cat,

Even the odds of getting to a hundred are very slim,

But the odds of living forever are extremely dim.

Immigration, multiculturalism, religion and race,

Government imposed social dilution right in your face,

This politically correct issue should be openly debated,

No referendums and the subject of racism is hated.

While legal-aid lawyers and terrorists clog the high courts,

And we’re compelled to believe their left-wing biased reports,

As they all claim bail, plus have Charter Rights so it’s okay,

And Trudeau wrote it so “Everyone” could come here and stay.

They want Canada to accept a million refugees from Sudan,

It’s a nice little addition to Toronto’s welfare plan,

Because they claim, we are so rich and they are poor in Darfur,

To even speak about this idea, just shows we’re immature.

Terrorists might be tortured over there and they wouldn’t lie,

If they are deported to where they left and they might even die,

As left wing goody-two-shoe types lean over backwards and yelp

And legal-aid lawyers send us the huge bill when they run to help.

Judicial hearings are held to get these terrorists out on bail,

To let them free so that they can plan and plot without fail,

And would-be murderers all walk back out onto the street,

To the public’s dismay and nothing is questioned or discreet.

And no one knows how many, if any, have been deported,

A publication ban usually stops this from being reported,

And no binding referendums or political recall is allowed,

We have to behave subservient as though we have been cowed.
