Why can't we change the system?

Why can’t we change the system?

By

James Bredin

The lawyer said his customer was really not to blame,

Those machine guns were really not registered in his client’s name,

And the cops never told him about his Miranda Charter Rights,

Till long after they had stopped him, arrested and had a fight.

His case, after ten years, is still making its way through the courts,

Therefore the terrorist can’t be deported according to reports,

He claims he’s not a terrorist and now wants out of jail,

Lots of political left wing activists want to pay his bail,

Their intellectual tentacles are like a virus from hell,

Creeping statism towards their so called utopian cell,

It’s not called lies these days, it’s called misinformation,

No referendums, no recall, just political frustration.

 Unwed Welfare Mothers Galore

Unwed Welfare Mothers Galore

By

James Bredin

There’s no need to find a husband because government will protect,

Unmarried pregnant girls in ghetto welfare housing project,

Because making more babies is the best career in town,

At home, politically correct and lots of boy friends around.

Never had to even go to school to learn baby making trade,

They only had to play around, got pregnant to have it made,

Social workers and politicians at their every beck and call,

Monthly government check and an apartment and that’s not all.

Where fathers or husbands are considered excess baggage,

Their presence could drop the welfare check down below average,

No disgrace, social stigma, shame or dishonor in this lifestyle,

Lots of girls getting pregnant because it’s so worth while.

And the more fatherless babies she has, the bigger her check,

So birth control or abortion would be just a pain in the neck,

Because no one outside in the real world seems to give a damn,

No referendums and no recall for this lifestyle scam.

 Nuclear

Nuclear

By

James Bredin

Sometimes they scream that our Candu nuclear reactors are safe,

But don’t ask too many technical questions or they’ll get irate,

They want us to believe all their government propaganda,

So there’s no need for questions about their nuclear agenda.

I am always amazed at Liberal nuclear defenses,

Or their phony policies and other left-wing pretences,

Their Kyoto Accord we knew and know so little about,

No referendums and no recall but they never have a doubt?

Many of our politicians are both stupid and ignoble,

Is it possible they learned nothing from Chernobyl?

While hydro guys like to talk about all their high tech stuff,

And their nuclear nerds tell us there’s never enough.

Dalton was going to phase out the coal burning plants,

As usual he was lying and flying by the seat of his pants,

And no one can question their stupid nuclear decisions,

Maybe or maybe not we can make nuclear revisions.

 Easy Parole System

Easy Parole System

By

James Bredin

He decided to plead guilty to murder in the second degree,

Do a few years in the pen, get parole and soon he’d be free,

The soft justice system would let him out in no time at all,

Appointees to the parole board seem to always play ball.

An illegal refugee decided to run for office and win,

Though permanent politicians thought that this was a sin,

But the illegal refugee got elected instead,

Elected by other illegal refugees who were widespread.

And we didn’t even know, thanks to a publicity ban,

It may have been a politically-appointed judges’ plan,

We listened to dubious decisions and wondered what to do,

No referendums or recall and in a politically-correct stew.

Politicians gave everything away just for social harmony,

Forgot the invasion by immigration and the social agony,

Charter multicultural politically-correct madness,

With passive compliant peons trying to hide their sadness.

And of course, you thought that this was a lie and would never occur,

But the bureaucrats were busy that day and it was all a blur,

Consent was manufactured so democracy was not allowed,

Replaced by public relations, publicity bans and we’re cowed.

 Democracy and dead babies

Democracy and dead babies

By

James Bredin

With their secret agendas and furious feminist grudges,

Some women have even been appointed Supreme Court judges,

And now we have abortion clinics up and down and here and there,

And for the dead abortion babies, no one seems to care.

This is all accepted as normal in left-wing propaganda,

Though it’s always been a part of their buried agenda,

It’s really a sign of how easily the public can be led,

Couldn’t even care less about the little babies that are dead.

Society seems on a slippery slope where no one cares,

Though there was once a time when the preachers led us all in prayers,

But that was long ago and now it seems so very far away,

The preachers are still around but these days they have no say.

And the people of course never voted about this concern,

No referendum, no recall and no democratic return.

It was a High Court decision and everyone just obeyed,

Though some said they were afraid and others said they felt betrayed.

And now we are confronted by those in Sharia law,

Abortion clinics not allowed there because they see the flaw,

Even four wives allowed and no dead abortion babies,

Can you see something peculiar here and no ifs ands or maybes?
