Where can we find the leadership to get us out of this mess?
Of criminals, homeless, soft judges and Afghanistan distress,
Where they dance around the issues and then they delay, delay,
And prove that they have feet completely stuck down in clay.
Democracy hollowed out by these closed-agenda politicians,
Public trained by a TV screen to their hyped-up conditions,
Electronic images manufactured by words and fears,
We will put things right they say so there is no need for your tears.
Under the impact of propaganda, democracy is out,
Opinions and attitudes can be formed and bought if in doubt,
The lies can be twisted and manipulated to calm the crowds,
Disjointed political propaganda within these hazy clouds.
Oh but we have Charter Rights so everything should be all right,
No need for a politician to tell the truth or stand and fight,
For binding referendums or recall but abortions wall to wall,
Politically correct in a war with no battlefield at all.

Canadian Youth Criminal Justice Act
By
James Bredin
Guns, drugs, gangs, and an attitude of entitlement abound,
The Youth Criminal Justice Act they thought was so profound,
How much crime does it take, to see the handwriting on the wall?
How many lenient decisions before we all have to crawl?
None of the accused criminals can be identified and more,
Neither can the relative who is screaming outside the door,
This is called justice in our strange politically-correct times,
The Youth Criminal Justice Act for youths who do their crimes.
Their names cannot be published and no one really knows why,
Criminals can’t be embarrassed or they might scream out and cry,
Or are these the symptoms of a country going down the drain?
Criminals always seem to get bail in this vast left-wing campaign.
Our soft-on-crime judge appointees are a complete disgrace,
But few left-wing media outlets will report or get on their case,
Where apathy is rampant and the public behave like sheep,
Where people are kept in the dark about youthful criminal creep.
Our goody-two-shoe politicians have again just raised their pay,
And we the people are allowed to have nothing to say,
We should have citizen initiated referenda on all this,
Get control of politicians, judges and crooks like the Swiss.

Ten thousand pedophile priests came to their conference that day,
They weren’t sure whether they should talk, sing, play or maybe pray,
Some were parish priests; some were cannons and even a deacon,
Some Irish, English, American and even a Puerto Rican.
Four hundred and eleven of these priests went out to protest,
They demanded humanitarian rights because they were blessed,
The bishops never said that they had to change or even leave town,
They might move them to another parish but never clamp down.
They wanted their constitutional rights recognized in writing,
They declared this pompous pedophile proposal was exciting,
They wanted one of their own appointed to the Supreme Court,
Because they felt they needed much more judicial support.
Because too many of their members were persecuted in jail,
And the church was being sued left right and center without fail,
This type of conduct would stop if they had constitutional rights,
And they could stand on the pulpit, forgive sin while dressed in tights.
They want no jail time because their sins have all been forgiven,
They forgave each other all their sins and they’re going to heaven,
Same-sex marriages and pedophile priests should have their say,
And to hell with all the others; they can just go away.

Distant wars are not decided on battlefields any more,
It’s their roadside bombs and terrorist suicide types, that score,
Therefore we’ll have to rethink peacekeeping in those foreign lands,
Not worth soldiers coming home in coffins with military bands.
The UN and NATO should adjust to these modern conditions,
Just tell those terrorist rogue regimes to change politicians,
Our soldiers should not be killed by some fanatic over there,
Just so we can prove that we are an international player.
The UN is going to have another meeting very soon,
No doubt, on some nice quiet peaceful New York sunny afternoon,
About refugees, welfare, global warming and peacekeeping stuff,
We should tell them to shove it because we have done enough.
Opinions of millions of people shaped by watching TV,
Pompous pumped-up left-wing agenda just for you and me,
Talking heads telling us what to think and what we should believe,
People without binding referendums are easy to deceive.

Is Sharia Law coming our way?
By
James Bredin
The veiled voter denied she was Osama Ben Laden in disguise,
The politically correct all looked at each other in surprise,
And no one said a word because we were all so very nice,
Could Sharia law be self imposed around our necks like a vice?
Irrational reaction is not allowed in a flock of sheep,
No recall, no referendums, no democracy – not a peep,
How an organized left wing minority group could seize power,
In Germany, Russia and China – though they were superpowers.
Dangerous apathy within our society could kill,
Just like those foreign war-crime refugees who are here still,
Can’t be deported as they appeal forever in court,
Charter Rights; endless legal-aid lawyers with issues to report.
The writing on the wall has been a long time in sight,
Ladies in burkas, Sharia law and polygamy rights,
Maybe some guys will think that four wives would be great,
And without referendums or recall, there no need for debate.
And people at the UN say we should all be quiet,
As only the Parisian French are allowed to riot,
Do we have the leadership to tell it like it is or should be,
As we bend over backwards, politically correct and plea.
