 Canadian soft-on-crime scene

Canadian soft-on-crime scene

By

James Bredin

The soft-on-crime judiciary political appointees,

Allow criminal gang guys to walk as if they were trustees,

And the criminal smiled as he left the court room on bail,

Enroute to get his handgun and free from going to jail.

A mentally ill judicial system prone to left-wing demands,

Will allow all ghetto dudes to walk on the slightest command,

Politically correct as they just go through the motions,

And we the people, mere observers, can’t show any emotions.

In Paris they would have a noisy riot for this type of scene,

We get one-way information from their filtered TV screen,

After all, we’re so multicultural or didn’t you know?

That means criminals can walk thanks to the Charter by Trudeau.

Toronto Tough Times

Mayor Miller has got himself and us in a financial bind,

He wanted to raise our taxes and thought we wouldn’t mind,

But they stopped this socialist in his tax-and-spend tracks,

And now he’s mad as hell at us and is going to get us back.

They’re going to cut the Transit System in half they say,

As punishment for questioning the mayor’s integrity; OK?

So you may have to walk to work a very long distance,

It’s for midnight-basketball programs and more social assistance.

The city smacks of incompetence from the tip top down,

And from tax-and-spend politicians, we only get a frown,

The citizens never participate in City Hall decisions,

And nothing is allowed to change and there will be no revisions.

They are going to knock down some welfare buildings and build more,

No one knows why and only politicians know the score,

They call it revitalization – or maybe abuse of power,

Blocking public input again from high inside their ivory tower.

Democracy hollowed out by closed-agenda politicians,

Public trained by a TV screen to altered hyped-up conditions,

Truth can be twisted and manipulated to calm the crowds,

Don’t underestimate their propaganda as it comes in loud.

The manufacture of consent by public relations types,

Could bury incompetence or corruption with their hypes,

Could cause us to accept something even though we know it’s wrong,

One-way flow of indoctrination from this political throng.

 Criminal Illegal Immigrant

The Criminal Illegal Immigrant

By

James Bredin

Criminal terrorists and illegal immigrants have it made,

Can appeal and delay forever being deported, I’m afraid,

Lost in bureaucratic paper work while in and out of jail,

Regardless of his criminal convictions, he always made bail.

Being an unemployed drug addict took up a lot of his time,

Part of soft-on-crime appointee judges’ pompous pantomime,

No one got deported while they all went through the motions,

This is hard to believe in Canada where we still show no emotions.

The backlog of immigration appeals might be ten years long,

Bureaucrats at the Immigration Board are always right -- never wrong,

Legal aid immigration lawyers know the system is flawed,

But that is how they make a living as they hemmed and they hawed.

And the papers reported and the people read and no one did a thing,

Unemployed criminal immigrants giving us the sting,

The goody-two-shoe left wing international socialist scheme,

The result of Trudeau’s Charter is still not considered extreme.

Toronto tax-and-spend politicians

By

Long ago when Toronto was a peaceful quiet tranquil place,

Before punk panhandlers were allowed to get in our face,

Before Trudeau’s international Charter for those Osama types,

Before every left-wing tax-and-spend politician could hype.

Refused to build a bridge to the island or subway to the Airport,

Want support for gridlock roads and their tax-and-spend distort,

Dead democracy at City Hall where politicians think it‘s great,

People believe what the TV says and there is no need for debate.

The tax-and-spend mayor wanted to raise taxes even more,

For his midnight-basket-ball programs so he could stay and score,

But some hardy politicians got together and voted it down,

By only one vote, no less, and the mayor certainly frowned.

The public had no input into these increase-tax discussions,

By the next election there might have been no repercussions,

So we need to praise these politicians, who refused to back down,

A rear commodity now in what was one time, a very great town.

 Media Propaganda

Media Propaganda

By

James Bredin

The media vested interest is side tracked towards you,

They have their own agenda bent inside their programs too,

They may forget the news, hardly noticed in their routine,

But you will read and listen with your eyes glued to the screen.

Inside their news headlines, their propaganda has a slant,

With biased information that they want to promulgate and rant,

Some are right wing, some are left wing, some religiously deep,

We are guided here and there like a flock of sheep.

Send money to the UN or Africa and send it right away,

Wars, tragedies, famines, terror, crimes every day,

Instill fear of whatever terrorist there might be out there,

We are all so vulnerable, therefore we should beware.

Most media is no more than press barons propaganda,

Bend the news and events to fit their private agenda,

Oh no you say; this couldn’t happen in this free land,

Think again as we walk in lock step at their command.

It’s the peace process they are liable to be writing about,

In bureaucratic double talk as if they had no doubt,

Waiting at the airport for planes inbound with the dead,

Can we support the soldiers but not the war instead?
