 Change the elitist system

Change the elitist system

By

James Bredin

Consensus on reform is not permitted, promoted or allowed,

Politicians think our system is perfect and they are so proud,

Young Canadian criminals are called youthful offenders,

And their names can’t be published by these political defenders.

Can’t have binding referendums or recall or stuff like that,

Can’t fire a judge even if he/she is a complete ding bat,

Appointees to the Senate or Supreme Court can’t be elected,

They will do what’s expected – that’s why they were selected.

And those who are appointed or elected refuse to find fault,

Questions about changing the system are considered an assault,

Where parolees and those who make bail get free legal assistance,

Because of our soft-on-crime left-wing socialist persistence.

Indeed they may decide to let all criminals walk free,

It’s the police who are at fault so you better get down on one knee,

They want more government assistance and programs for the needy,

And if you don’t agree, you are obviously elitist and seedy.

Canadians should get rid of this plague

Canadians should get rid of this plague

By

James Bredin

Canadians have little say in events because judges rule,

Political appointees from some elite soft-on-crime school,

Brought about because of the Chretien-Trudeau Charter,

Written for a community by politicians who were smarter.

But this Charter that does not allow Canadians property rights,

Still the elites defend it from the parliamentary heights,

These same politicians who think it’s great to never shake the tree,

Go to parliament, point a TV finger and then they all agree.

But the TV camera is forbidden to show the empty seats,

Nor do they show the many abortion clinics along the streets,

Add soft-on-crime judges to this and who can we then trust?

Will our soft-on-crime democracy eventually go bust?

Convicted criminals should be sent to jail and not paroled,

The names of youthful offenders with guns should be published and told,

Appointee judges should be questioned and senators elected,

Get rid of this left-wing plague that seems to have us infected.

Without political recall or referendums, we are stuck,

Politicians can do or say anything and we’re out of luck,

We need strong leadership to get us out of this awful mess,

Someone who tells it like it is and we don’t have to second guess.

Iran and the UN

By

Little black haired man in Iran with the unpronounceable name,

As mad as a hatter or Hitler in his anti Israel game,

He wants nuclear war heads to make a big impression,

They love him at the UN with their constant stupid concessions.

It sounds like an Old Testament tale from five thousand years ago,

Except this is in the here-and-now as we watch this game show,

Something to observe closely like Hitler before World War Two,

Mesmerized, impressed and captured in time as we watch his debut.

The UN may eventually go like the then League of Nations,

Unless they straighten their act out of these corrupt complications,

And realize that nuclear bomb Hitler is a complete ding bat,

And unless they stop him, they themselves could fall flat.

Canadian Reality Show

We have politicians, who would sell their souls for a dime,

Then appoint judges inclined to fudge and seem so soft on crime,

Where hookers are not allowed to ply their trade in public places,

Where we’re denied euthanasia but have abortions in our faces.

We’re denied binding referendums or recall of politicians,

And only they are allowed to debate these steadfast conditions,

In Parliament where they like to point their fingers back and forth,

But the system has never and will never change henceforth.

And like judges; senators are appointed by politicians,

Blatant favoritism condoned with no expositions,

And nothing changes – never -- except the names on their chairs,

Can’t disturb the status quo but why does no one seem to care?

If you find a politician you feel you can trust, let me know,

I’m sure there’s one out there, who is not just in it for the dough,

Someone who believes in democracy and the will of us all,

That means binding referendums and political recall.

 Politically correct soft socialism

Politically correct soft socialism

By

James Bredin

Society with symptoms of politically-correct plague,

That cannot be mentioned or cured, so we pretend and be vague,

Social stigma, disgrace and shame in that welfare ghetto place,

Guns, gangs, bullets, death, blood, single mothers, and race in your face.

Lots of attitude where judges are known to be soft on crime,

Criminals in and out of jail but do very little time,

Back to the project chock a block with single mothers’ sons,

In various gangs, all speaking slang and some with stashed guns.

They often try to shoot each other and when they don’t miss,

Dead victims lionized at black T-shirt funerals in this abyss,

Where loud announcements are made about violence and death,

But sometimes innocent bystanders get shot and run out of breath.

Loud mouth hoodlum mind-set all screaming discrimination,

But the public is kept in the dark with little explanation,

Government providing additional funds just to cover their ass,

Appoint two or three high profile friends to write them a pass.

Ontario Housing welfare projects everywhere wall to wall,

Society spinning out of control where we are forced to crawl,

Can’t have the broken-window policy this summer or fall,

Might interfere with their programs or maybe midnight basketball.
